HARRIS, Lydia
Age 72, of Brookville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022, at home, following an extended illness under care of Hospice of Dayton.
Lydia was a strong-faithed Christian who loved Jesus whole-heartedly. She has been a member of Community of Faith Church in Lewisburg. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed singing with the church choir. She is also a retired bus driver for Northmont Schools. One of her favorite parts of life came when she became a Mamaw (grandmother). Her grandchildren became a wonderous part of her life. Lydia will be fondly remembered by all the family and friends she leaves behind.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony Harris Sr.; parents, John (Helen) Plantz; brother, Bob Plantz, and sister, Roma Kapp.
Lydia is survived by her children, Leslie (Bryan) Ray, Tony (Bobbie Jo) Harris Jr.; grandchildren, Chelsea (Josh) Obringer, Kayla (Seth) Bennett, Dylan Harris, Ben Harris, Alexa Harris, Sara Harris, Emma Harris; great-grandchildren, Kensington Obringer, Brylee Bennett, and one more on the way; siblings, John (Paula) Plantz, Rodney (Fannie) Plantz, Jackie Moran, Pam Plantz, Joe Plantz, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 11AM, at the Community of Faith Church, 400 N Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH 45338. The family will start receiving guests on Saturday the 12th, at the church, from 10am – 11am leading into the services.
