MASON, Marilyn Hise  

Age 74, of Brookville, passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lula and James Hise; siblings, Oscar Kendall, Eula Morrison (Kendall), Donald "Bill" Kendall, Alice Kendall, Maxine Fout (Hise), Wilma Ravenscraft (Hise), and Virginia Davis (Hise), sister-in-law, Mary Kendall. Marilyn was a very giving person. Before retiring, she worked for EPI in Englewood. During her retirement she enjoyed her time gardening and making crafts. She spent over 40 years in the church choir and sang with the Brookville Showboat. Marilyn was known for going above and beyond when helping people. She had a deep love for her family and a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.  Marilyn is survived by her husband, Larry Mason, children, Amber (Brad) Pirwitz and Emily (David) Dunkin; grandchildren, Brianna, Mason, and Logan Pirwitz; siblings, Carolyn Rhoades (Hise) and James C. Kendall Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10 at Crestview Baptist Church, Clayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Crestview Baptist Church Youth Group Fund or The Kappa XI Chapter of Delta Theta Tau to, support Brookville Showboat.
