Age 93, of Brookville, passed away on January 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel & Irene Price; sisters, Nancy Garber and Rosalie Stoner; son-in-law, Tom Elifritz. Mary Alice loved her time spent on the farm taking care of all the animals. She was known for her ability to talk to anyone and had showed her faith by being a good Christian mother and grandma. She was also a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Billy Dean Cox; children, Diane Elifritz and Mark (Debbie) Cox; grandchildren, Tonya (James Jr.) Snyder, Aaron (Mindy) Cox and Nicole (Justin) McCarrol; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Peyton, Lauren (Jacob), Ethan (Jennifer), Jada, Mahki, Keira, Addy, and Ian; six great-great-grandchildren and brother, Glen Price. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22nd at Lewisburg Baptist Church. Memorial services will be held for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to “Thru the Bible” by visiting ttb.org. Arrangements are in the care of Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, Brookville.
