Age 87, of Englewood, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020 following an extended illness.
Maxine was a devoted pastor’s wife, who was a dedicated member of the churches she served. She was a wonderful pianist and a heart-felt Sunday school teacher. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie & Maxie Mae Fisher, and brothers, Roy Fisher and Jack Fisher.
Maxine is survived by her husband of 68 years, Pastor Richard Donovan; children, Kathy Donovan, Timothy (Sherrie) Donovan, Jayne (Duane) Rudd; grandchildren, Richard (Melinda) Rudd, Timothy “Rock” (Angela) Rudd, Emma (Nick) Overman, Sara (Wade) Collins; great-grandchildren, William, Lauren, Madelyn, Nathaniel, Charlotte; siblings, Dorothy Harvey, Irene Overholser, William Fisher; several nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020, 1PM, at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Interment to follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, at the funeral home, from 11am – 1pm leading into the funeral services.
