Age 85, of Brookville, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Melvin was a toolmaker at GM for over 40 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and traveling to Florida. Survived by his wife, Patricia Pyle; children, Steve (Melissa) Pyle, Alan (Lori) Pyle, and Joan (Scott) Barnett; grandchildren, Virginia (Josh) Martin, Heather (Craig) Burroughs, Beth (Joe) Emrick, Brad (Lauren Woods) Peters, Blake Peters, Cheyenne (Ron Birchfield) Pyle, Colton (Maggie) Pyle, and Lauren Pyle; great-grandchildren, Oakley, Joclynn, Dylon, Ean, Hailee, Callan, Jaylin, and Mariss. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 at the funeral home.
