DUNCAN, Michael A.,

Age 73, formerly of Brookville, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, unexpectedly following a very brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Lillian Duncan. Mike was an active member of the Brookville community. He served as a Brookville Firefighter from 1972-1985, a Council Member from 1985-2017, and as Mayor from 1989 -1995. He worked at General Motors for over 33 years and had numerous part time jobs after that to stay busy. Mike loved his community, friends and family so much. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Tanya Duncan, son Scott Duncan (Courtney), daughter Traci Brown (Nick), 5 grandchildren (Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Delaney, and Dayelen) and brother Edward Duncan (Karen). A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville on Thursday, June 24, 2021, with visitation from 4:00pm-6:00pm and a service immediately following.
