Age 68, of Lewisburg, passed away on September 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Catherine Rike; mother-in-law, Shirley Whitt; siblings, Ruth Glascoe, Shelby Alexander, Frances Mehl, and Billy Ray Lawson.

Mitch was a wonderful husband and father. He was a faithful friend who had a genuine joy for life. He worked from 1981-2016 at the Iams Company (now known as Proctor and Gamble). He enjoyed camping with his family in New Paris. Mitch loved to watch NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. #3.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Twila Hunter; son, Shannon Hunter; father-in-law, Richard (Doris) Henn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bev (Randy) Robbins, Sherry Kneisley, Brian (Kim) Whitt, Richard Alexander; numerous nieces and nephews; A special thank you to those who were with him through this journey, Jeff Sexton, Sherry Kneisley, and Kristy Petro.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19th at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Joe Hodapp, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday followed by internment in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
