Nathan William Burkett

Age 29, of Brookville, passed away following an extended illness on March 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim & Maggie Burkett, and Richard Shiflet. Nathan was a truly special person who brought a lot of warmth and joy to those around him. His love for simple, happy things like a good hug, a noisy toy, an animal show or a favorite rom-com speaks to his very sweet and bright spirit. He was extremely close with his brothers and family who will dearly miss him. Nathan is survived by his parents, Jeff and Minnie Burkett; brothers, Nick and Tyler; niece and nephew, Peyton and Carson; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday with interment services to follow in Pyrmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
