LANDIS, Noka
Age 95, of Brookville, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2022 following an extended illness.
Noka was born on January 14, 1927 to the late Samuel & Elizabeth Benton in Kentucky. At 11 years old her family moved to Franklin, Ohio and a few years later Noka moved to Brookville where she would live for the next 70+ years. She was a hard-working farmer’s wife with a caring heart. After her husband, Glen, passed away in 1983 she went on to work for Green Tokai for around 18 years. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all the lives she has touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Landis, and siblings, Max, Drew, Chris & Dazzel.
Noka is survived by her children, Beverly Landis, Jeff (Debbie) Landis, John (Claudia) Landis, Joe (Rhonda) Landis; grandchildren, Jenna Brooks, Adam (Bobbie) Landis, Justin Landis, Jesse (Amy) Landis, Erin (Josh) Scott, Nathan Landis, Sarah (Jared) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Logan, Corbin, Benton, Aiden, Jake, Dylan, Austin, Jonathan, Carley, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, 12pm (noon), at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd., Brookville, OH 45309. A visitation will be held on Friday the 4th, at the funeral home, from 10am – 12pm leading into the services.
