Age 79, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026.

Paul devoted his life to helping others, especially children with special needs. A special education teacher, primarily in Greenville, teaching was more than a profession—it was his calling. While teaching full-time, he also worked at Michael's Group Home with his wife Dixie. Whether in the classroom or at the group home, Paul believed every person deserved dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to succeed.

A true jack of all trades, Paul enjoyed a lifetime of adventures. Over the years he planted a Christmas tree farm, raised pigs, owned and operated arcades, coached youth sports, and loved spending time deer hunting. He was known for his love of "wheelin' and dealin'," and he truly never knew a stranger. His warm smile, quick wit, and genuine interest in others turned acquaintances into lifelong friends.

Of all the roles he held, being "Grandpa" was one of his favorites. He treasured his grandchildren, Easton and Baylor, and especially loved cheering Easton on at his sporting events. Those moments with family were among his greatest joys.

Paul's Christian faith guided his life and gave him peace. His family finds comfort in knowing he has been reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Dixie.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie; his parents, George and Betty Terrill; and his brothers, Sherman and Donald.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayce Terrill; son, Paul Jr. (Elysia) Terrill; his grandchildren, Easton and Baylor Terrill; his sister, Marcia (Reg) Howell; his brother, David Terrill; and many nieces, nephews, friends, former students, and colleagues.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, Brookville. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by interment at Arlington Cemetery.
