Phyllis Jean (Thomas) Shell

SHELL, Phyllis

 Age 82, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Coleman Thomas and Edna Thomas and her husband of 59 years Elden Shell. Phyllis graduate Sinclair Community College in 1981 with her RN degree. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital in 2009. She was always a wonderful mother as well as a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her love of animals and enjoyed supporting and engaging with wildlife, as she was an avid supporter of Best Friends Animal Society, Dayton Humane Society, as well as numerous other animal organizations. Phyllis was also involved with the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry for over 20 years. She always found time for her loved ones as well as animals. She loved to shop for herself as well as others. She will be deeply missed. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Elden Allen (Margarita) Shell, Noel Curtis (Michelle) Shell; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thompson, Jacob Shell, Dakota Shell, Kenady Shell; great-grandchildren, Kimberly Thompson, Joseph Walker; and numerous other relatives and friends. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 18th, 11:00 am at the Pyrmont Church. A Visitation will be held from 10:00am 11:00am leading into the service on Saturday. Interment will take place at Holp Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pyrmont Church. Arrangements made by GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE.
