FETTERS, Robert Wayne (Bob)

Age 74, of Centerville, formerly of Phillipsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Michael Fetters and Gary Fetters.  Bob is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Karen; step-brother, Dennis Gebhart; three daughters, Kristina (Eric) Anderson, Kimberly (John) Pape, Amanda (Darin) Tiffany; 11 grandchildren (Kaylee (Jay), Andrew, Abigail, Hannah, Julia, Cameron, Luke, Rachel, Paige, Samuel, Benjamin) and 3 great-grandchildren (Brantlee, Kellan and Olivia) who will all miss his steady presence and dry humor at every family gathering. 

 Bob was a 1968 graduate of Northmont High School.  Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy where he served for nine years after which he took his skills into the computer industry as a systems engineer later moving into software sales support.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling with Karen to many places around the world and to visit his daughters and their families.  He was an avid skier for several decades enjoying several trips with different immediate and extended family members.  He enjoyed hiking and exploring the outdoors and he always had a project going, whether it was a new patio, building a shed from scratch or helping a friend or family member with a computer or electronic need.  He was a “can-do” guy who believed that he could hike any mountain, learn a new instrument or fix any broken object if he set his mind to it.  He has left a great legacy to his family which was truly his greatest pride and joy.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17th at 3pm beginning with military honors outside at The Point Church, 10227 Dayton Lebanon Pike, Centerville, Ohio 45458 with a reception to follow at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Point Church.
