TURNER, Robert Eugene “Bob”

Age 93, of Phillipsburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after dying peacefully in his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Artie, parents, John & Anna Turner, and daughters, D’Ann Tobias & Susan Beth Turner. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He has been a longtime active member of Phillipsburg United Methodist Church. His family will always remember him as a devoted and loving husband, father & Pappa (grandfather). He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by a son, Jay (Karen) Turner; son-in-law, Steve Tobias; grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Tobias, Melanie (Ryan) Meno, Ada Turner, Joseph Turner (Karyn Sleppy); six great-grandchildren, Ian, Leah, A.J., Karalyn, Riley & Sabrina; brother, David Turner; sisters, Martha Lloyd & Lois Wheeler; sister-in-law, Norma Raiser and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Tue. February 1 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT ROAD, BROOKVILLE, with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12-1 pm, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Phillipsburg United Methodist Church.
