McGUIRE, Rosemary E.

Age 78, of Brookville, was born on January 1, 1947 to Jess Warner Jr. and Mary Catherine (Moore) Warner and passed away on May 11, 2025. She was a graduate of Brookville High School in 1965 and Miami Jacobs in 1966 with an Associate Degree in Business. She worked for a Dayton Company for 45 years in various positions and retired in 2009. Rosie was married October 19, 1968 and divorced in November 1992. Rosemary was blessed with one child, Lacy Baylen (McGuire) Blann and her devoted husband, David Matthew Blann. Rosemary has two grandchildren. She leaves behind two wonderful brothers, Garry and Daryl Warner and sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Kim Warner. She was blessed with two nieces and two nephews. She also had many cousins. Rosie moved to Centerville and loved to cook for neighbors and friends. Her talents were knitting shawls for friends and nursing homes. She also made afghans for her family and friends. She was blessed with special friends and neighbors Sue Flaster and Jim Albright who took her to the doctor, got groceries, took out trash, and when she was hospitalized, took care of her condo and cat. Also Beverly Lee, Maxine, Kim, Walt, Patsy and many friends at First Financial Bank in Centerville were a blessing to her. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. A celebration of life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
