Sharon Hatton Obituary
HATTON, Sharon
Sharon A. Hatton, age 74, passed away at home in Brookville, Ohio after a long battle on October 30th, 2024. She fought her battle with the same strong and loving spirit with which she lived her life.
Sharon was born in Moline, Illinois to the late Creed and Dorothy Bishop and attended Stivers High School. Sharon loved shopping, travel, and a good laugh. Her family was her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Neace, and her brother, Lee Bishop. Sharon is survived by the love of her life and husband of 56 years, Fred Hatton; her two children, Bridgette Hatton and Frederick (Nicole) Hatton; her four grandchildren, Megan Morales, Josh Bosworth, Evie Hatton, and Sophie Hatton; one great grandchild, Landon Morales; three siblings; Butch (Darlene) Bishop, Bernice (Willard) York, and Elizabeth (Jack) Powers; and lifelong friend, Elaine (Woody) Deaton. She also leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at her home on a future sunny funny day where laughs and fond memories will be shared. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton (www.hospiceofdayton.org).
Sharon was a friend to all who never met a stranger. Her love, warmth, humor, and fierce spirit will live on in all of the lives that she touched. She was a true Ace.
