SHELLABARGER, Stephen Wayne

Age 76, formerly of Brookville, went to be with the Lord while under hospice care on Thursday, August 19, 2021 near his home in Palm City, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken & Neva Shellabarger, by his first wife, Dee Shellabarger, by his sister, Sandra Zander & by a grandson Jake. He retired from GM. Before moving to FL, he was very active with the Brookville Community Theatre and he was a former member of Brookville First United Methodist Church. Steve was very happily married to his wife of 12 years, Judy. They enjoyed traveling together, especially to Ireland. Steve is also survived by a daughter, Rachel Shellabarger-Meenan (Shawn); son, Matthew Shellabarger (Kris); grandsons, Jared Wogoman (Sara), Weston & Wyatt Shellabarger & great-grandson, Brooks Wogoman, along with numerous other relatives and friends. At Steve’s request, he will be buried in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville next to Dee in a private graveside service to be held at the convenience of the family.
