Wayne D. Goin

GOIN, WAYNE D.

Age 84, of Brookville, died peacefully surrounded by his family on February 12, 2023 after battling cancer. He was a member of the Brookville VFW Auxiliary and the UAW union. Wayne was an insatiable reader who loved sports, especially basketball. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Beverly Marie Young (Tom), Janet Lynn Tabor (Bruce); sons, Robert Wayne Goin (Terri), James Raymond Goin, Michael Dane Goin (Robin), Wayne Douglas Goin (Amy), brothers, Blaine and Dane Goin, and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Goin; parents, Leon and Marie (Maddox) Goin; brother, Richard Goin. Wayne was a strong man who would never turn away anyone who was in need of help. He asked for little so that others could have more. Memorial Service for Wayne will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023 at GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE.
