O'BRIEN, William Patrick (Billy)

Age 64, of Trotwood, Ohio, went to his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2023, at his home. Billy was born on March 9, 1959, to Charles B. and Gladys M. O’Brien in Dayton, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles B. and Gladys M., his Brothers Sean Patrick and John Allen, his Sister Cheryl Martini (Sherrie) and Nephew Steven. Also, his Father-in-law Donald J. Holland and Mother-in-law Ethel M. Holland. Billy was survived by the love of his life, Wife Brenda D. O’Brien (Holland), Brother Christopher O’Brien, Sister-in-law Suzie O’Brien, and Sister Margaret (Maggie) Sunsera. In-laws Linda and Chris Johnson, Pam and Bryan Pearson, and Lisa and George Hoover. His Daughter, Sheri Franklin, Son-in-law Todd Franklin, Son Joshua O’Brien, and Daughter-in-law Sierra O’Brien. The Grandchildren Billy loved so deeply Elizabeth Franklin, Abel Franklin, Maverick Franklin, Ryder Franklin, Serenity O’Brien, and Elijah Hamblin.  Also, so many loved nieces and nephews, Jenny, Nina, Theresa, Dawn, Heather, Sierra, Amber, Kena, Dan, And Patrick. Billy was a graduate of Belmont High School in Dayton, OH., and served our country in the U.S. Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist. Billy loved cutting the grass and helping everyone around him. He always had his grandchildren around him, usually on the scooter. When he wasn’t with them, he was with Brenda enjoying the yard and garden, or watching Football, or going to their favorite Airline Dairy Crème. Billy was a very caring man and would drop everything to help a friend or close neighbor, it didn’t matter what he had going on that day.

Billy’s Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023. The Memorial gathering is to open at 11am with the service starting at 12pm. It will be held at Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd., Brookville, OH. 45309. Email condolences may be left by visiting www.gilbert-fellers.com
