SZKUDLAREK, Ellsworth E.

Age 84, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2017 at his home following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marlene in 2001, by grandchildren, Matthew & Katie Szkudlarek, by a sister, Mary Ellen Halcli & brother Thomas Szkudlarek. Ellsworth was a Professional Engineer and Surveyor by trade, he was a retired member of the Engineer’s Club, member of OSPE & DSPE, he was the former State and Local Treasurer for Ohio PERS and  he was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Arlene; children, Dave Szkudlarek, John (Yongyu) Szkudlarek, Laura (Steve) Haines; step-children, Colin (Melba) Myers, Sam (Lexi) Myers, Janie Myers, John (Angie) Myers; 11 grandchildren, Greg, Kenda, Kiya, JP, Hayley, Johnna, Jason, Joe, Sarah, Courtney & Dylan; 6 great-grandchildren, Tucker, Delilah, Dexter Morgan, Autumn, Corrina & Simon; sister, Carol Szkudlarek; sister-in-law, Paulette Szkudlarek and numerous other relatives and friends. A Funeral service will be held 6 PM Wed. Jan. 11 at  the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE. Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM Wednesday.
