Tom was such a fun person to be around. He did so much to help others and to see they had a good time when you were with him. We will truly miss him every day but we know where he is and God knew he needed him more than we do. It is an honor to have been able to call him a friend. In Christian Love, Wilmadeen, Marie, and Linda

So sad to hear of Tom's passing, but happy to think of the celebration in heaven right now. He has received the ultimate healing for a Christian ! Tom was such a wonderful guy, went all thru school with him & always remember him smiling & nice to everyone. Know I'll see him again. My sympathy to his wife & daughter & all other family members-stay strong in the Lord, he sees your tears....

You always could count on Tom with a great happy smile, and a funny joke! He was always in a good mood, never had anything negative to say. He loved everyone. We are going to miss Tom so much, but the memories we have of him will always stay with us, and we will talk lovingly about him forever. Don and Barbara

To Diane and Tonya and Family. I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was like a brother to me. I have so many fond memories of Tom. He was truly a great Christian man, husband, father, grand-father, and friend. I will miss him so much. I hope I will be one of his neighbors in Heaven.

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on his headstone, from the beginning ...to the end. He noted that first came the date of his birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time that he spent alive on earth. And now only those who loved him know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own, the cars...the house...the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. so, think about this long and hard. Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left that can still be rearranged. If we could just slow down enough to consider what's true and real and always try to understand the way other people feel. And be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile, remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So, when your eulogy is being read, with your life's actions to rehash... would you be proud of the things they say about how you spent YOUR dash?
