HOLP, Cody E.
Age 19, of Arcanum, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2007 in Atlanta, GA as a result of injuries suffered in a bus accident. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Marjorie Holp & Mary Ann Hansford & grandfather Delmer Howard. He was a 2006 graduate of Tri-County North High School where he played baseball, soccer & football. He was currently attending Bluffton College where he was a business major & played on the baseball team. He was a member of Lewisburg UMC & participated in Big Brother & Big Sister programs. Cody was very outgoing and was caring to everyone he met. He is survived by his mother & step-father Kimberly & Bob Askins, father Jeff Holp; brothers Gaar Holp, Austin Holp, & Joseph Askins; sister Alyssa Askins; paternal grandfather Harold Holp, Brookville, maternal grandfather, Alvin Hansford, Pine Ridge, KY; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, & many special friends including Donald Kirby who Cody helped and worked with for some time. Services will be held 1PM Thurs. March 8 at the Lewisburg UMC with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Interment Arlington Cemetery. Friends may call 4-9pm Wed. at the church.
